Why Attend

Most families navigate the NDIS without ever getting this conversation.

This session brings the explanations you need into one room — in plain English, with no jargon and no sales pitch.

01

Understand your budget

How plan funding actually works, what flexible vs. stated supports mean in practice, and how to use your budget with confidence.

02

Know what evidence matters

Why documentation and incident reports matter, what good evidence looks like, and how it protects you and your plan.

03

Separate myth from fact

Straight answers to the things you've heard but never had confirmed — what's actually true about the NDIS and what isn't.

04

Meet real providers

Talk directly with OTs, speech pathologists, psychologists, PBS practitioners and care providers — not a brochure, an actual conversation.

On The Day

How the session runs

First 30 min

Understanding the NDIS

Plan structure, flexible vs. stated supports, how budgets actually work, and what good evidence and documentation looks like.

Next ~60 min

Meet your providers

Short, plain-English presentations from OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Positive Behaviour Support and care providers — what each role actually does and how they can support you.

Final 30 min

Open Q&A & conversation

Ask questions directly, talk informally with presenting providers, and walk away with names and next steps that are relevant to you.

The Panel

A multidisciplinary panel, in one room.

Panel composition may vary by session based on provider availability and confirmed family interest.

Occupational Therapy
Speech Pathology
Psychology
Positive Behaviour Support
Care Providers
Other Allied Health

Support Coordination is leadership, advocacy and safeguarding — not administration. This masterclass exists so families don't have to navigate the NDIS alone.

Good To Know

Common questions

Does this cost anything?+

No. The NDIS Family Masterclass is completely free to attend, for participants, family members and carers. There is no catch and no sales pitch.

Do I need an NDIS plan already to attend?+

Not at all. This session is just as useful if you're new to the NDIS, waiting on a plan, or have had a plan for years and want a clearer understanding of it.

Can I bring my child or family member?+

Yes. The session is family-facing and welcomes participants, parents, carers and support people together.

What if I can't make the date once it's confirmed?+

No problem — this is the first in a series of sessions across the Northern and Southern suburbs. Let us know and we'll keep you updated on future dates.

Will my information be shared with providers?+

No. Your registration details are used only to manage the event and keep you informed. Any connection with a provider only happens if you choose to make it yourself, in person, on the day.
